But in practical use, I would very rarely listen to a movie at full volume with the full subwoofer in my home. That's understandable and I'm sure the Acoustimass module handles that easily. I will say, you do miss the sub on the major bass effects like the footsteps and stomping of the dinosaur and some very low soundtrack features that are meant to be felt rather than heard. Not at all like any sound bar I've ever demo'd before.
The dialog is crisp and centered and there is a surprising amount of bass. During the gyroscope chase scene the sound of the insects buzzing around and the soundtrack combined with the deep growls of the Indominous rex it was pretty amazing. I am blown away by the quality of the phantom sound processing. So much better than the Yamaha AVR/Klipsch/Polk hybrid system I was using. With the kids and wife out of the house this evening I am demo'ing Jurassic World (streaming from ATV) and it's pretty damned amazing. I have JUST the sound bar - no rears and no sub (yet) - and I have not yet dialed in with AdaptIQ as I'm waiting on a new console/stand.
